In this podcast I talk about two opposing ends of a scale. Strictly abiding by the rules or not bothering with them at all. I use the ancient <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Bushido\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Bushido<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/search?q=honour&amp;oq=honour&amp;aqs=chrome.0.69i59j0l5.1788j0j4&amp;sourceid=chrome&amp;ie=UTF-8\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">honour<\/a> codes as a metaphor for our current life situations. This code is particularly fascinating because if its followed to the strictest letter of the law, it could end your life. It can be <a href=\"http:\/\/www.historynet.com\/death-before-dishonor-the-samurai-of-japan.htm\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">potentially dangerous<\/a> but there are some many fascinating elements to the code that are so beneficial to society and are currently working. Where and how do we draw out lines.<\/p>\n<p>There are so many elements of this ancient code visible in Japanese society and the Japanese people are noted for their politeness. Benevolence is a key principal in the code, along with loyalty. As outsiders I think we misinterpret this.<\/p>\n<p>With regards to strict adherence to the code, this might be natures way of removing crazy hardliners.
